How to Get Noticed on the Baseball Field

What does it take to get noticed on the baseball field? DICK’S Sporting Goods Tech Rep Josh Muecke talks about what coaches and scouts are looking for in baseball players. In a word: hustle.

“The most important thing is they’re watching you from the second you get on the field,” Muecke says. “I know a lot of coaches that if you are walking to first, if you are not hustling on and off the field, you’re out of the game. You can’t get noticed if you’re not on the field.”

To make the right impression, Muecke says players should work hard and maintain a positive attitude.

“Hustle from the second you show up to the field,” he says.
